Is there a difference between the Applicator and the Applicator/Punch? The Applicator only applies O-Rings to single holes. The Applicator/Punch simultaneously punches holes and applies O-Rings.
When would I use the Applicator and when would I use the Applicator/Punch? The Applicator would be used to apply O-Rings to existing document holes. The Applicator/Punch would be used on any new documents needing 2 or 3 holes reinforced by O-Rings.

Does the Applicator/Punch contain a reservoir for punched holes? Yes. The underside of the Applicator/Punch contains a durable no-spill reservoir to hold punched holes.
Do I need the O-Rings guards? Although you do not need the O-Rings guards to operate the Applicator/Punch, we strongly recommend that you use the guard to prolong the life of your Applicator/Punch and O-Rings.
